Day 18: Early or late

This morning’s Shred was early (before 6) so I could get a ride in later (30 miles).  It was super hard, and I didn’t feel like I was pushing myself as much as I could have.  It wasn’t like I was phoning it in, but it was just kind of blah.

Maybe I was thinking ahead, saving energy for the ride.  Or maybe if I did ALL my Shred in the morning first thing I’d get used to it.  I might try it for a few days to see if it gets better.  It sure was nice to get it OUT OF THE WAY.  :)

When do you do your Shred?  Is it the ideal time, or are you squeezing it in when you can?

    I definitely prefer to get it out of the way in the morning, but it’s not always possible working full-time with two young kids (and a husband who likes to fit in a mountain bike ride first thing before it gets too hot). I actually don’t find doing it at night to be too bad, but I pretty much have to get it done before 9:30 PM, or I just can’t find the motivation.
